JEE Main is one of the most important examinations for students in India who aspire to study engineering at the undergraduate level.   1. Get a good night’s sleep: It is important to get a good night’s sleep before the examination. Being well-rested will help you to be more alert and focused during the examination .Make sure to go to bed at a reasonable time the night before the examination and to avoid staying up late to study.
  2. Wake up early: Wake up early on the day of the examination, so that you have enough time to get ready and have a light breakfast. Eating a nutritious breakfast will give you the energy you need to perform well during the examination.
  3. Review your short notes: Before leaving for the examination centre, review your short notes(especially in ioc like drugs name) one last time. This will help to refresh your memory and give you confidence in your abilities.
  4. Reach the examination centre on time: Make sure to reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. This will give you time to relax and focus before the examination begins. It is also important to plan your route to the examination center well in advance, so that you are not running late on the day of the examination.
  5. Read the instructions carefully: Before you begin the examination, make sure to read the instructions carefully. This will help you to understand the format of the examination and the types of questions that will be asked.Make sure to pay attention to the instructions for each section of the examination and to follow them carefully.

  8. Essential items: Also take all the required things to exam centre like whatever given in the instructions. As I could remember during my first JEE main I forgot to take an extra passport size photo with me to the centre that put me in a big trouble.
  9. Ensure that one of your family member is with you at the centre as it gives emotional support and would also help you in any accidental need.
  10. Don’t get distracted: It’s important to focus on the exam during the entire duration. Avoid talking to other students, and don’t get distracted by what others are doing. Just focus on your own examination and you will do well.
  11. Remain hydrated during the exam by drinking water regularly and whenever you feel like you are panicked by the pressure just sip the bottle and start it again you will feel refresh that will help you figuring out the situation clearly.
