$$ \begin{aligned} & \frac{1}{v}-\frac{1}{u}=\frac{1}{f} \\ & \frac{1}{v}-\frac{1}{-2 f}=\frac{1}{-f} \\ & \Rightarrow \frac{1}{v}=\frac{-1}{2 f} \Rightarrow v=-2 f \\ & \frac{1}{v}=\frac{1}{u}+\frac{1}{f} \Rightarrow \text { Virtual image of Real object. } \end{aligned} $$ In statement II, it is not mentioned that object is real or virtual hence Statement II is false.
