Let $x=x(t)$ and $y=y(t)$ be solutions of the differential equations $\frac{\mathrm{dx}}{\mathrm{dt}}+\mathrm{ax}=0$ and $\frac{\mathrm{dy}}{\mathrm{dt}}+\mathrm{by}=0$ respectively, $\mathrm{a}, \mathrm{b} \in \mathrm{R}$.
