Sol. As per NCERT (s block), the better method of preparation of BeF2 is heating . $\left(\mathrm{NH}_4\right)_2 \mathrm{BeF}_4$ $\left(\mathrm{NH}_4\right)_2 \mathrm{BeF}_4 \xrightarrow{\Delta} \mathrm{BeF}_2+\mathrm{NH}_4 \mathrm{~F}$
