The relation between root mean square speed $\left(v_{\mathrm{rms}}\right)$ and most probable speed $\left(v_p\right)$ for the molar mass $M$ of oxygen gas molecule at the temperature of 300 K will be :-
$$
v_{r m s}=\sqrt{\frac{3 R T}{M}} \text { and } v_{m p}=\sqrt{\frac{2 R T}{M}}
$$
Thus $\mathrm{v}_{\mathrm{rms}}=\sqrt{\frac{3}{2}} \mathrm{v}_{\mathrm{mp}}$
