Number of numbers with '1' digit = $4=4$ Number of numbers with '2' digits $=4 \times 5=20$ Number of numbers with ' 3 ' digits = $4 \times 5 \times 5$ $$ =100 $$ Number of numbers with ' 4 ' digits $=2 \times 5 \times 5 \times 5$ $$ =250 $$ Total number of numbers $=4+20+100+250$ $$ =374 $$
