λ in vacuum = c / f = (3 × 10⁸) / (3 × 10⁹) = 0.1 m
∴ λ in medium = 0.1 / μ
Where refractive index
μ = √(μᵣ εᵣ)
Assuming non-magnetic material μᵣ = 1
∴ μ = √2.25 = 1.5
λₘ = 0.1 / 1.5 = 1/15 m = 6.67 cm
