These CBSE class 12 sample paper solutions cover the official 2026-27 sample papers that CBSE released for the 2027 board exam. Each subject has a free solution PDF and its own page, so you can check every answer and see exactly how the marking scheme awards marks.

Class 12 is the year when board marks and entrance exams run side by side. A sample paper solved properly does both jobs: it shows you the board pattern, and it exposes the NCERT gaps that would also hurt you in JEE, NEET or CUET. The real value is in the marking scheme, which tells you which step, point or keyword earns each mark.

Below you will find the download table for all subjects, the pattern of each paper, a question-wise index to jump to any question, and practical advice on using class 12 sample paper solutions the right way.

Quick answer: CBSE class 12 sample paper solutions 2026-27 for Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, English Core, English Elective, Hindi Core, Hindi Elective, Computer Science, IP and Physical Education are available below as free PDFs. Key insight: Physics, Chemistry and Biology now share one design: 33 questions for 70 marks, with 16 one-mark questions and 21 marks from seven 3-mark short answers. Maths stays at 38 questions for 80 marks.

How to Use Class 12 Sample Paper Solutions the Right Way

  • Finish the NCERT chapters first. Every question in these papers is built on NCERT.
  • Attempt the paper in exam conditions. Take the question paper from our sample paper page, set a 3-hour timer and write full answers.
  • Check with the solutions and the marking scheme. Compare steps and points, and give yourself marks honestly.
  • Keep an error log by chapter. Note whether each lost mark was a concept gap, a silly mistake, a missing step or a format issue.
  • Re-attempt after two weeks. A higher score on the same paper shows your revision is working.

Time yourself

Long papers like Chemistry, Biology and English need practised speed.

Mark yourself

The marking scheme teaches you how examiners think.

Repeat

Two attempts of one paper teach more than one attempt each of two papers.

From the Marking Schemes

Common Mistakes the Solved Papers Reveal

  • Skipping steps in numericals and derivations. Physics, Chemistry and Maths give separate marks for the formula, substitution, units and answer.
  • Unbalanced chemical equations. Missing balancing or conditions costs marks in reaction questions.
  • Wrong formats in English and Hindi writing. Notices, letters, articles and reports lose marks without the correct format.
  • Code with small errors. A missing colon or wrong indentation changes the output in Computer Science and IP.
  • Paragraphs instead of points. Biology and Physical Education answers are marked point by point.
  • Ignoring word limits. Extra words do not add marks and cost time.
